These updates will not effect any current stock data
Stock data is stored in a completely different database file to the program application.
Install the latest update (shown by red button) which will include all previous updates. 
Previous updates are show as blue buttons, just in case you would like to roll back for any reason

IMPORTANT Information for Seasonal Influenza season:
Please make sure your delete all the Open Exeter codes in Smart Clinic, as they are no longer required and if the latest batches have not been assigned they will display rough warning messages:
  1. Click the List menu and select "Claim codes/Drugs by Age"
  2. Select each listed entry and click the Delete button, until the list is empty
  3. Click the Close button
Note: You can still use the Drugs by Age section to assign an Age range to one or more batches, but please make sure you selected all the active batches for each age group.

  • Update: New PCV vaccines "Pneumo conj Prevenar13 (2 dose)" and (3 dose)

  • Fix: Drug dictionary class descriptions
  • Update: Change to the way duplicate batches are handled. It will now ask if you want to open the duplicate batch, rather than view it.
  • Update: A user will now need to select a Type of Influenza vaccine when adding stock.
  • Update: There is a new feature in the "Stock" menu to allow you to reset any expired stock levels to zero. This is useful when running Stock reports and starting from zero stock each year.

  • Update: Additional stages added to COVID-19 immunisations
  • Update: New feature in the List menu "Activate/De-activate Imm. Types". This allows you to remove any immunisation types from the batch card drop-down list. It will then display a warning if any stock items with inactive types are then issued.

  • Update: The expiry date is no longer entered into the batch field for any immunisation.
  • The expiry date will still be displayed in the free text
  • This feature may be switched on or off in program setting via the Open menu

  • Update: SHINGLES - Now includes the new Shingrix adjuvanted recombinant vaccine type when selecting 1st or 2nd Stage. Single stage will record  the existing Zostavax type.
  • INFLUENZA - Now includes the new QIVr and aQIV types when adding stock to the batch cards, which will then enter the type to the patient record.
  • COVID - Now includes Medicago, Novavax and Valneva vaccines types
  • COVID - New clinical code made available under the hands icon when selecting COVID vaccine. Click this button to record: "Immunisation course maintain protection against SARS-CoV-2" required to acknowledge a COVID booster vaccine.
  • Influenza OHP and Pharmacist vaccines types now show vaccine types
  • Treatment Type Global and Unique comments now have no text limit.
  • Smart Flu Clinic updated for Shingles. Stage has been added and will switch the stock list based on the selected stage. Single dose = Zostavax, 1st or 2nd = ShingRX vaccine
  • Special risk bug has now been resolved for all vaccines, so that it will record the correct vaccine type.
  • Due date bug resolved. Where the user entered an alternative due date which was automatically reset to default or removed if the default was none.
  • Update: Now includes the Moderna type for the SARS-CoV-2 vaccine.
  • We have also remove Courageous and Talent as they are no longer available in Vision.
  • Update: Out of Practice now includes the TYPE of vaccine when recording SARS-CoV-2 and FLU vaccines, so that it records it in the patient record using the assigned type.
Out of Practice
  • Update: This update provides an option to exclude the expiry date from the batch details, so that the batch field only contains the batch number.
Once updated, open Smart Clinic...
  1. Click the Open menu > select Program Settings
  2. Tick the box : Exclude expiry date from batch details for COVID

  • Update: This includes the new SARS-CoV-2 vaccine. Please click the Important Setup Advice to understand how to setup Smart Clinic to work inline with your current Vision update.

Important Setup Advice
  •  Fix: Intranasal was displaying an XML error message when filing to Vision (XML doc not valid). This was due to the Type not being recognised by Vision. This has now been resolved.
  • Update: v5.96.1 includes the Smart Flu clinic update above, but Smart Clinic is still v5.96
  • Update: The age parameters that determine which immunisation shows on the Smart Flu Clinic toolbar only - has been changed for intranasal. The upper age limit has been changed from 11y to 17y. This means that intranasal will now show up to the age of 17y.
    This also has an impact on PPV, which has now moved from 12y to 18y. This means that PPV will now appear on the Smart Flu Clinic toolbar at the age of 18y
  • New: Automated bulk immunisation data entry feature.
    Import a Vision 3 patient group and automatically save assigned immunisation details to every patient within the group.
  • New: Influenza TYPE (QIVc, QIVe, TIV, etc...) can now be saved as part of the batch details. This will then record the correct influenza type to the patient record in Vision. This also applies to bulk data entry and Smart Flu Clinic.
  • Update: New childhood PCV "Pneumo conj Prevnar 13 (2 dose)" has been added for 2020.Immunisation Filter
    This may need to be switched on under Filtered immunisations:
  1. Click the Filter icon (under the File menu, as shown in the image)
  2. Scroll down to: Pneumo conj Prevnar 13 (2 dose)
  3. Put a tick under the "Child" column inline with the immunisation and click Update button
When you select the child immunisation icon you will now see the new PCV immunisation in the list.
  • Update: Change to Seasonal Influenza for both Smart Clinic and Smart Flu Clinic
    • Selecting "Single" stage will enter influenza seasonal using 65ED.00
    • Selecting 1st or 2nd dose will enter it as 65ED400 or 65ED500
